Before you come to the lab
- Get the form. Collect the sample submission form at the Reception Block, Ground Floor.
- Pay the fee. Deposit the applicable analysis fee via UPI only at the Reception Block.
- Submit the sample. Hand over your sample with the completed form and the UPI payment receipt.
- Microbiological test? Contact the Microbiology section first for the sterile container and collection instructions.
Other parameters. We mainly carry out the parameters that are within our NABL accredited scope. Other parameters may be possible, but they are not accredited and the result is not assured. Please discuss any such parameter with the Quality Manager or the Head of the Laboratory before submitting a sample.
Water samples. Submit at least 1 litre (1000 mL) in a clean corked bottle for chemical analysis. For microbiological analysis the Microbiology section provides the sterile container. A sample in a factory-sealed pack or bottle can be submitted as it is, without tampering with the seal.
Timings and contact. The office is open Monday to Saturday, 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. The phone, +91 70990 15100, is attended from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm on working days. Turnaround time depends on sample load and test type, so please ask the lab reception for an estimate when you submit.
